WHO WE ARE?
The Italian-Hungarian Cultural Association Vivi Budapest was founded in 2010 and since 2016 has integrated into its staff the Giocando in Italiano Group to organize language events.
The purpose of the Association is mainly to develop Italian-Hungarian cultural relations as well as the dissemination of Italian culture and language in Hungary. We also aim to help Italians who decide to come and live in Hungary in the integration process. In this regard, we organize cultural, social and educational events for both children and adults. The collaboration and support with other Italian non-profit organizations present in the Hungarian territory, in order to offer more and more to the Italian-Hungarian community.
Why are we called Vivi Budapest?
The word "Vivi" wants to invite Italians who live in Budapest / Hungary or who come to visit it to fully experience the experience that the city / country can give while maintaining their values. We, with our activities, want to offer the possibility of "living" this permanence in the best possible way.

How we work
Our Association, thanks above all to the help of volunteers, organizes events for Italians, Italian-Hungarians, Italian speakers and for all those who are interested in the Italian language and culture. In addition to spreading the love for the Italian language and culture, our aim is also to create a community and help participants get to know each other and socialize through fun and interactive programs .

The Vivi Budapest Association applied for the ERASMUS+ adult education mobility project for the first time in 2022, and can already count itself among the successful applicants.
The project "Learning Italian folk dances and folk music" received a grant of 23,410 euros. The 18-month support period starts on March 1, 2023 and lasts until August 31, 2024.
