Dances and music from Southern Italy
One of our aims is to make Italian folk traditions better known through traditional music and dances. Occasionally we organize concerts and / or evenings with workshops and free dance.
Southern Italian dance evenings
Southern Italian dance events are finally back!
In our folk dances workshops we will be guided and transported by the Mediterranean rhythms typical of Southern Italy through which we will take a journey to learn more about folklore and ancient traditions. We will learn steps of dances like the pizzica from Salento, tarantella, tammurriata and other characteristic folk dances that have their origin in the peasant past of southern Italy.
In the first part of the event we will teach the dance steps, and in the second part we will have free dance so that we can practice the steps learned!

Folk dance group
We would like to put together a group of dancers who can learn traditional dances and occasionally help us to animate concerts with presentations of Italian folk dances, thus helping us to make our traditions known to more and more people.
We ask for availability to come and rehearse regularly (once a month) and in case of extra rehearsal shows before the event.

Interactive activities for cultural centers and festivals
On request we are available to organize our workshops of Southern Italy dances and our other interactive cultural activities (creation of Venetian masks, fresh pasta workshops, language games, etc.) for cultural centers, festivals or in collaboration with other organizations.
